About Hans van der Poel

I paint and draw since my youth had some exhibitions during the early seventies in Paris .But left it after that until the last couple of years. I have never attained an art school and developed my skills through reading, internet painting classes and observing and studying color, light and composition. My favorite subjects are varied and diverse, I practice on different  techniques, and basically I use for all my oil paintings only  primary colors and white, which is probably old fashioned but  I try to  put in my paintings and drawings  some vibration  that I hope will touch and move  the viewer . I advance and learn every day, the road is long but the ubiquitous passion gives a very satisfying feeling
